Funny girl

You have no idea how excited I am to go to East High School next year even more so after seeing the play Funny Girl. If I hadn't known the cast was entirely made up of students I would have thought it was done by professional actors. This production was on the level of Christmas Carol at the Denver Performing Arts (possibly better). With a full orchestra, dancers, costumes ,and sets, that brought the story to life vibrantly, and had the audience captivated the whole way through. The only, all to common, mistakes, that come from performing live, was when the signal for the microphones dropped for a split second once or twice. But, even then the actors had such powerful voices that that didn't even matter. The lead actress was amazing performing with talent way past her years in an older role. By far the best high school production I have ever seen. Period.
