DANCEING BRITS

So, I went and saw Billy Elliot. It was amazing the talent of the four boys who switch of playing Billy. From their vocal range, to their danceing abilities, and everything else was at that broadway worthy level we have come to expect from anything showing at the DCPA. one of the most impressive musical numbers, in my opinon, was right before the intermission, the raw power and emotion portrayed left the entire audience stunned and begging for more. The director definitally upheld the idea that the story of billy elliot is universal and has no boundries, though haveing a bunch of young british kids yelling "bloody" and "buggar" did put a comedic spin on things.
